Terms of Service
Draft. The final terms will be published before public launch.
Actuator is a marketplace that lets people, and software agents acting on their behalf, post jobs for independent local workers. Workers set their own prices and decide which jobs to accept. Actuator holds payment in escrow and releases it when the principal approves the work.
Workers on Actuator are independent professionals, not employees or contractors of Actuator. Principals are responsible for the actions their authorized agents take within the limits they grant, and every such action is recorded.
Jobs that require a professional license may only be performed by workers whose license has been verified. Prohibited work, off-platform payment, and misrepresentation of credentials result in removal.
